Organic food is made in such a way that the use of synthetic material can be limited or expelled during the production. Agriculture can be described as bio in most of the part of human history. During the 20th century, only a large amount of artificial chemicals were supplied for food.

This latest style of production is known as “non-nuclear”. Under biological production, the use of atomic inorganic insecticides, insecticides and the medicines is prohibited and it is safe in the form of the last resort. However, unlike the general assumption, some non-organic fertilizers are still used for foods.

If animals are included, they should be nurtured without regular use of antibiotics and growth hormones, and generally they should feed a healthy diet. In most countries, biological production is not genetically modified. It has been suggested that the application of nanotechnology in agriculture and food is another technology that needs to be taken out of certified organic food.

Organic food production is a highly regulated industry, which is different from private gardening.
Historically, for the historical use organic farming is a relatively small family-run work, so at one time organic food was only available in small stores and small farmers’ markets.

Foods claiming to be biological should be free of artificial food additive and should often be processed with artificial methods, materials and conditions such as baking with chemical method, food irradiation and genetically modified material. The use of pesticides is allowed only till they are not synthetic.

Many surveys and studies have been conducted to compare and investigate the traditional and biological systems of agriculture. The general consensus among these surveys is that organic farming is less harmful due to the following reasons:

Organic farms do not consume or release synthetic pesticides in the environment, some of which have the potential to harm soil, water and local terrestrial and aquatic wildlife.

Compared to conventional farms, organic farms are better in maintaining ecosystems, i.e. insects and plants, as well as animal population.

Yield

One study found that by using 50% less fertilizer and 97% less pesticide, the yield of organic farms decreased by 20%. The results of studies comparing yields are mixed. Supporters claim that the quality of biologically managed soil is high and water retention is high. It can help to increase the yields for organic farms during drought.

A study has shown that the production of organic farms of area-wise area potatoes, beetroot and seed grass is half of the production of traditional farming. The dependence of organic food on fertilizers from such conclusions and low-yielding cattle has encouraged the criticism by scientists that biological agriculture is environmentally unhealthy and unable to feed the whole world.

Organic food production is free of chemicals and pesticides, while all the processed food companies use chemicala to ensure their products for a long time, to show good, and to improve their taste. Farmers who cultivate organic food are environmentally friendly and ensure that consumers take full advantage of that natural food.

The amount of sugar, fat and chemicals present in processed food has been linked to different diseases over the last few years, as it has been linked to various types of cancers, Alzheimer’s and birth defects. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has claimed that 60% weed chemicals can suffer from cancer. Because organic foods are free from these chemicals, therefore the risk of getting infected with these diseases is reduced by the consumption of organic food.

Environmentally friendly

Farmers who are using insecticides and chemical fertilizers in their fields are risking both the consumer and the environment. These chemicals are not only affected by the food we eat but also the soil and surrounding areas and water. Apart from this, the number of biological farmers is relatively low today. Consumption of organic food ensures the existence of farmers from middle to small businesses.

Organic farmers grow crops in such a way that prevents soil erosion. Because organic foods are grown without pesticides and fertilizers, therefore no harmful chemicals like lead or extra fertilizer are introduced with soil. The taste of organic food is better and more natural than processed foods. Today’s farmers use chemicals and insecticides to kill bacteria in the food. Antibiotic resistance

Over time, artificial pest control methods, which use chemicals, become less effective and due to which the farmers start using more chemicals which eventually reach our body in our food and vice versa. Antibiotics or growth hormones are not used on the animals being taken care of.

According to a research done on animals, 70% of the antibiotics given to animals are used to increase the production of milk and meat, and most animals maintain high levels of antibiotics which are ultimately absorbed in the human body.

It is when we eat these lumps and milk. These antibiotics or growth hormones do not break in our body and our body builds resistance against these antibiotic and due to which when we get sick, the medicines on our body are not affected.

Prevents soil erosion

Microorganisms found in soil due to excessive use of chemicals die and these microorganisms help to maintain soil profile and ensure the healthy growth of plants. The way organic farmers cultivate do not cause soil loss and this soil prevents corrosion from occurring.

Biodiversity

Due to organic farming, more and more biodiversity has occurred. Most organic farmers practice continuous crop cultivation with mixed livestock and this method cultivates more and more abundant species compared to conventional farming.

One of the reasons for pest control problems is the lack of genetic diversity and the plant responds differently to the stress of pesticides due to its different genetics. Flexibility in responding to these stresses is more when there is more genetic diversification

The use of biological and management methods by biological farmers encourages both reproduction and pest management, habitat diversity and flower variety, and these are the inter-crop, crop circle, green manure and rotten holes in biological and management methods.

Organic farmers use this slow-moving but healthy way to ensure high quality food products, so eating organic food is worth appreciating for the hard work that is beneficial for both the environment and the environment.
